This session represents the unique combination of purpose and practice, where secondary Social Science teachers are supported in their endeavors to increase reading comprehension and thus increase an understanding of texts assigned in the secondary Social Science classroom.

We will feature support for teachers who are engaged in developing their ability to support their secondary students in the development of their foundational skills in reading.
